Pokémon Center Japan: January 15th Weekend New Releases

Pokémon Center Japan released two new series of original goods this past weekend: Regi Pokémon Dolls and a variety of Piplup Sweets cafe merchandise.

   
Each Pokémon Doll measures 11-13cm tall and retails for 1320yen.  They can be purchased using a deputy service on the Pokémon Center Japan Online or directly on Amazon.co.jp.

Pokémon Center Japan Announces Second Q-Pot Collaboration

Ready your wallets, Eeveelution collectors! Pokémon Center Japan and Q-Pot are collaborating once again to bring us some very cute (and very expensive) Eeveelution cupcake charms.

The charms are made-to-order and exclusive to the online Japan Pokémon Center. They cost 11,880 yen each and the order period is open from February 1st to February 28th.

Orders close after February and they will ship in May.

Each charm also comes with an exclusive Eeveelution-theme box and shopping bag.

New PokéCen Exclusive 1:1 Lifesize Eevee Plush

Japan Pokémon Centers will be releasing two new lifesize 1:1 Eevee plush next month. Both a standing and sitting pose Eevee will be available.

“Lifesize” or “1:1” plush are a special type of plush specifically created to match their Pokédex proportions in real life.

While many plush may in fact be close to their life-size proportions, only plush with this specific designation (等身大サイズ in Japanese) are considered true 1:1 plush.

Sumie Retsuden is a special collaboration between Japan’s Pokémon Centers and traditional artist Okazu.

Fluffy Little Pokémon Promotion Released in Japan Pokémon Centers

A new cute stylized merchandise promotion titled “Fluffy Little Pokémon” released in Japan’s Pokémon Centers on January 19th.

Pokémon Center Announces an Accessory Line for Pokémon Doll Mascots

On January 1st 2019, the Pokémon Center will be releasing a new series of accessories for Pokémon Doll Mocchiri Mascots. The new line is called Pokémon Doll House.

The first Pokémon Doll House accessories will include: Pikachu & Snorlax sofas, plush Pokéball carrying case, Pokémon Center, Mimikyu tent, Pikachu bus, Kanto starters train, and Weepinbell, Chansey, and Magikarp sleeping bags.



Five new Pokémon Doll Mocchiri Mascots — Lapras, Mew, Poliwhirl, Snorlax, and Gengar — will also be released on January 1st.

Mix Au Lait Pokémon Center Promotion Complete Report

Pokémon Center Finger Puppet Figures Get Third Installment on December 22nd

The Pokémon Center began their own line of PokéCen exclusive finger puppet figures this past September, and on December 22nd, we will be getting the first Johto additions to the series (and some more Kanto favorites)

Mix Au Lait Promotion to Feature Eeveelutions & New Saiko Soda Goods

The official Pokémon Center Japan site has updated with more information on the upcoming Mix Au Lait promotion!

Pokémon Center 2019 Lucky Bags Feature Pikachu, Eevee, and Mew Plush

The upcoming 2019 New Year’s Lucky Bags at the Pokémon Center have been announced! This year they will feature large size (12 inch) versions of Pikachu, Eevee, and Mew Pokémon Fit plush.



Each lucky bag will retail for 4,000 yen and include one Pikachu/Eevee/Mew plush randomly as well as a surprise assortment of Pokémon goods. Preorders on Japan Pokémon Center Online have already sold out.



They will be available on January 1st (or January 2nd depending on the location’s holiday hours) at Pokémon Centers across Japan.

Ditto Transform! (or in Japanese, Henshin! Metamon) is a Pokémon Center exclusive merchandise line that first began in 2016. “Super Nerd” Promotion to be Launched in Japan with RoboPikachu & Science Motif Goods

First, we had substitute plush. Now we have… RoboPikachu?

Enter the “Super Nerd” promotion at the Pokémon Center, complete with robot Pikachus and science-themed goods. Super Nerd has been a Pokémon trainer class since Red & Blue. And now nerdy trainers have a merchandise line of their own! The series will launch on December 22nd in Japan’s Pokémon Centers.

Ditto Transform! Series Continues With Leafeon, Glaceon, and More

Beginning on December 22nd, Japan’s Pokémon Centers will be seeing new friends added to the ever-popular Ditto Transform! merchandise line.

Leafeon, Glaceon, Misdreavus, Litwick, and Poipole will be getting regular & mascot plush and gachapon figures.

Regular plush are 1200 yen each and mascot plush are 800 yen each.
Gachapon figures are 300 yen per try.
As with all releases in the Ditto Transform line, these are Pokémon Center exclusives.

Popular Pokémon Yurutto Collaboration Gets a Second Series of Merchandise

Pokémon Yurutto is back on December 15th! This Pokémon Center series is a collaboration with Japanese artist Kanahei — the original Pokémon Yurutto series released back in September 2017 and starred Pikachu, Dedenne, Bewear, and Rowlet.
